What is a piece of advice that you might offer to another district looking to implement mCLASS Intervention?
There are several words of advice:
1. Have a clear structure of who is in charge of implementing the program. Examples: IT person is responsible for entering students, vice principal in charge of grouping students, etc. I would definitely recommend that whomever is responsible for things like these be on the campus for which they are responsible.
2. Work through the onboarding process piece by piece. Stay patient and go through it step by step and do not get frustrated if you do not feel like you know something. Wade through the beginning one piece at a time.
3. Encourage staff who are working in the program to meet and help one another out when questions arise. Professional learning communities (PLC) will allow teachers to help one another.
4. Work with fidelity like the program says – it will pay off!
